Nanojute Ltd, is an innovative green startup company incorporated in February 2023 at Dhaka, Bangladesh to work with biotechnology for developing bio-based product from jute fiber, which will help achieving the sustainable development goals (SDG) of Bangladesh. We are very much competent and devoted to work with biotechnology for producing ecofriendly bioactive molecules as microcrystalline cellulose (MCC), carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) from jute fiber with following set standards and regulatory guideline of both local and international. Our mission is to produce “safe and sustainable” bio-based product, alternative to petroleum based polymer.
Natural polymer derivatives and chemical reagents synthetization from renewable biomass raw materials like jute and allied materials are more environmentally sustainable approached rather than destructing woody forest. Jute contains 60-65% cellulose. South Asian countries like Bangladesh economy largely influenced by jute with an engagement of over 40 million people directly or indirectly and average production of jute is 1.6 million MT per year by cultivating 10% of the countries total agricultural area.
